Our Story
I’m James, founder of Overlay Apps. For more than a decade I’ve worked closely with Salesforce customers across different industries and roles. I kept seeing the same frustrations: managers tied to reports, chasing overdue tasks, missed follow-ups, stalled deals, and lost leads.
Processes were slipping. Not because people didn’t care, but because Salesforce hides what matters behind tabs, lists, and dashboards.
That got me thinking: What if Salesforce brought everything that needed attention together, surfaced it in real time, and stepped in proactively when action was needed?
That idea grew into Act On It.
Act On It replaces scattered Salesforce notifications with a single, actionable inbox that shows users exactly what needs attention. It monitors what’s happening and what isn’t, surfaces the right work at the right time, and lets teams act immediately without switching context or digging through Salesforce.
